Toronto Filmmaker Doug Brown has a new documentary – and we did the soundtrack! Starting with a profile of Doug, the avid crate-digging record collector, ‘Never Enough’ sets out to discover the common traits of those who fill their homes with anything from Cadillacs to rubber duckies.

We’re teaming up with Footprints and United Soul for a huge night of dance floor grooves. The summer officially starts here – June 7 at Revival.

Footprints DJ’s Jason Palma and General Eclectic bring their long-running, all-inclusive dance event to the proceedings. Funk, Soul, Latin, Reggae and Hip Hop – these guys connect the dots between them all. For open-minded and adventurous music lovers who want something beyond the usual ‘club hype’, this is THE party to attend.

From United Soul, DJs Yogi, Mark and Anand have been promoting and supporting soulful dance music for over 25 years. They have worked with some of the biggest names in deep house, garage and techno – and their sets reflects their desire to educate and entertain. Their rich blend will also include soul, jazz, afro, latin and disco. It’s all in the quest for the perfect beat.

Don’t miss out on this jam of epic proportions. RSVP to the Facebook event HERE to pay $10 b4 11pm ($20 regular)

Revival, 783 College St - $10 b4 11pm with RSVP, $20 reg – June 7, 10pm-4am

An ‘on the road’ interview with DJ LP for 93.3 CFMU (McMaster Campus Radio), a roller derby after party…and a wealth of slick new joints from our bad selves.
This all added up to a stellar Saturday night at This Ain’t Hollywood.
We held it down for two sets with some new-and-exclusive tracks as well as the usual dose of rare grooves from the soul spectrum.

The Hammer always hits the nail on the head when it comes to good vibes and an in-the-know crowd.
And View Magazine knew somethin’ outta-sight was on it’s way…

There’s one chance left to catch acclaimed Hot Docs entry ‘David & Me’ featuring two Motivators classics – ‘Snakebite’ and ‘Your One Last Chance’.
Critics have described Ray Klonsky and Marc Lamy’s feature as “Impassioned…thrilling”. It also features a spellbinding score by our good friend Solitair. Check below for further information.
